Our team is comprised of workforce and financial education professionals who strive to ensure that first generation, racially minoritized and economically disadvantaged students build healthy financial behaviors.

Darlene G. Miller, Ed.D.
Executive Director

Darlene G. Miller, Ed.D., spent 13 years as the CEO and Executive Director of the National Council for Workforce Education (NCWE). When Dr. Miller took the helm at NCWE, the organization was in organizational and financial distress. Through her leadership, NCWE blossomed into a fiscally sound, nonprofit organization that is acknowledged as the national organization for workforce education.

Christal M. Albrecht, Ed.D., serves as the Project Director of MSFCP (Money Smart Financial Coaching Program). Funded by JPMorgan Chase, MSFCP provides financial coaching services to college students. Prior to joining MSFCP, Dr. Albrecht served as president of Alvin Community College from May 2014 until her retirement on August 31, 2021.

Suzanne Matthews, M.B.A.
Lead Coach and Assistant Director

Suzanne Matthews is the Lead Coach and Assistant Director of MSFCP, which supports financial coaching programs at two and four-year colleges across the nation. Until 2023, she served as the Director of the Center for Financial and Economic Education at Westchester Community College, where she led development of personal finance initiatives for the campus community, as well as the Money Smart Financial Coaching Program.

Juliette Saisselin currently serves as a Financial Coach for MSFCP. Juliette has worked in the field of financial coaching for the past nine years in a variety of roles, including volunteer work at Westchester Community College, WISE (Working in Support of Education), where she conducted workshops in financial education for victims of domestic violence, and earned her Accredited Financial Counselor from the Association of Financial Counseling and Professional Education.
